Collaboration will be key in building a more sustainable future. MAS is partnering various stakeholders in the financial sector and our international counterparts to green our financial sector and support the growth of the green economy in Singapore and Asia.
To support an increase in sustainable finance activity, we have rolled out a series of self-proposed and jointly developed initiatives across capital markets, asset management, insurance, infrastructure, philanthropy, and trade finance.
Moving forward, MAS would anchor sustainable finance external review, certification, assurance, and ratings firms in Singapore, as they would play a key role in ensuring the transparency and integrity of sustainable finance solutions. This would strengthen local technical capacity for sustainable finance-related assurance and verification.
