Capital Markets Services Licence

A company must hold a capital markets services (CMS) licence to conduct activities regulated under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 (SFA).

Fund Management Licensing

A company must hold a fund management licence or registration to conduct fund management activities under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 (SFA).

Financial Adviser's Licence

A company must hold a financial adviser (FA)'s licence to conduct activities regulated under the Financial Advisers Act 2001 (FAA).

Trust Business Licence

A company must hold a trust business licence to conduct activities regulated under the Trust Companies Act 2005 (TCA).

Approved Exchange AE or Recognised Market Operator RMO Licence

Markets are licensed by MAS as approved exchanges (AEs) or recognised market operators (RMOs) under the Securities and Future Act 2001 (SFA).

Licensed Trade Repository or Licensed Foreign Trade Repository Licence

Trade repositories are licensed by MAS as licensed trade repository (LTRs) or licensed foreign trade repositories (LFTRs) under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 (SFA).

Approved Clearing House or Recognised Clearing House Licence

Clearing houses are licensed by MAS as approved clearing houses (ACHs) or recognised clearing houses (RCHs) under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 (SFA).

Authorised Benchmark Administrator, Designated Benchmark Administrator and Authorised Benchmark Submitter

Benchmark administrators and submitters of designated benchmarks are licensed by MAS as authorised benchmark administrators (ABA), designated benchmark administrators (DBS) and authorised benchmark submitters (ABS) under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 (SFA).

Approved CIS Trustees

A company must obtain MAS' approval to act as trustee for collective investment schemes (CIS) constituted as unit trusts, where the CIS are authorised under the Securities and Futures Act 2001 (SFA) or are restricted schemes constituted in Singapore and entered into the list of restricted schemes maintained by MAS.
