Monetary Policy Group

The Monetary Policy Group is responsible for the surveillance and forecasting of the domestic and external economies, monetary policy formulation and economic research in MAS.

Markets & Investment Group 

The Markets and Investment Group is responsible for implementing Singapore’s monetary policy and managing Singapore’s official foreign reserves.

Departments: Monetary & Domestic Markets Management Department, Reserve Management Department

Development & International Group 

The Development and International Group supports the growth of Singapore as an international financial centre, promotes a vibrant financial market and shapes MAS' policies on international monetary and financial issues.

Departments: Financial Centre Development Department, Financial Markets Development Department, International Department

FinTech & Innovation Group 

The FinTech and Innovation Group is responsible for regulatory policies and development strategies for adoption of technology and innovation in the financial sector.

Departments: Payments FinTech Office, FinTech Infrastructure Office, FinTech Ecosystem Office

Banking & Insurance Group 

The Banking and Insurance Group comprises three banking departments, insurance department and anti-money laundering department. It supervises and regulates banks, merchant banks, finance companies and insurance companies, and formulates policies to combat money laundering.

Capital Markets Group 

The Capital Markets Group is responsible for supervising capital markets intermediaries, and markets and infrastructures. It also regulates the offering of securities and spearheads initiatives in financial education. The Group is also responsible for effective surveillance and enforcement.

Policy, Payments & Financial Crime Group

The Policy, Payments & Financial Crime Group formulates prudential and cybersecurity policies for the financial sector, and conducts surveillance of the financial system.

Technology Group

The Technology Group brings together expertise in data analytics, information technology and cybersecurity to support MAS as a digitally enabled and secure organisation and strengthen the supervision of technology risks in the financial sector.

Technology Group

The Technology Group brings together expertise in data analytics, information technology and cybersecurity to support MAS as a digitally enabled and secure organisation and strengthen the supervision of technology risks in the financial sector.

Organisation & People Development Group

The Organisation & People Development Group synergises our efforts in strengthening and transforming MAS as an organisation by bringing together matters relating to, including our workplace, people, culture and legal support.

Finance, Risk & Currency Group 

The Finance, Risk and Currency Group manages MAS' financial resources and develops risk management policies and strategies. It is also responsible for the issuance of currency.
